Vet Watch – Cremation Benefits

You have served our country, now let Neptune Society serve you.

What every veteran should know about cremation benefits.

United States Veterans are entitled to be buried or have their ashes interred in any National Cemetery that has available space at no charge. Currently, the Veterans Administration operates 125 national cemeteries, of which 65 are open for new casketed interments and 21 are open to accept cremated remains only. Burial options are limited to those available at a specific cemetery but may include in-ground casket, or interment of cremated remains in a columbarium, in ground or in a scatter garden. The government runs these programs and benefits may change at any time.

Neptune Society helps plan your veteran’s cremation

Neptune Society’s dedicated family services representatives are trained to answer your questions about a veteran’s cremation and help you navigate benefits eligibility and planning. Make your first call to Neptune Society for information on both cremation and veteran’s funeral benefits.

Ask our Family Services Representatives for more information on Veterans cremation benefits.

Through the Veterans Administration, Veterans may also be eligible for the following benefits:

  • $300 reimbursement towards your cremation service
  • Free headstones or markers in granite, marble or bronze
  • Presidential Memorial Certificates

The Leatherneck Club is Marine Corps themed Bar

The next time you are in Las Vegas, stop in at the Leatherneck Club Bar & Grill, a SWVCC member.  Great people, lots of marine memorabilia and good banter.

indexThe Leatherneck Club is a stand alone building located at 4360 W. Spring Mountain Road 89102, 2 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip. There is memorabilia decorating its walls along with photographs from private collections which cannot be found anywhere else. The Marine Corps Memorabilia dates back to WWI up to our current conflicts going on at this time throughout the world. Visitors and locals are warmly welcomed. We have several TV’s for watching all the games and races. We never miss a chance to party.

The leatherneck Club is proud to say we are a Bar and grill built by Marines for Marines. We of course encourage all military to visit our fine establishment. Built in 1990 we have a strong presence in the Las Vegas community as being a very Veteran Supporting Location.

There is a meeting room(for rent)(capacity for 115), 15 seat bar, a kitchen, and an outside drinking area(the Bunker).

We are proud that the Leatherneck has been recognized and one of the top 10 Happy Hour Locations in Las Vegas. We were also just named in the top 17 must go to bars in Las Vegas.

The Leatherneck Club opens daily at 11 A.M. and is open 363 days a year (we are closed Thanksgiving & Christmas Day)
